Noble Dynasty

The Revival of the House of Antioch

ABOUT THE NOBLE ORGANIZATION

Noble Dynasty is a Non-Profit, Non-Royal Organization, dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance and disaster relief worldwide without regard to race, religion or national origin. Founded by Dr. Salvatore Ferdinando Antonio Caputo, several members and the Knights of the House of the Caputo Nobility Association for the specific purpose of providing an independent vehicle through which focused international and domestic humanitarian assistance and medical relief programs could be organized.

The Organization runs a Ministry to assist street children and homeless elderly in Guatemala City: http://www.universal-ministries.webs.com/. More than 75,000 children have been identified as severely malnourished in Guatemala. This is as a result of ongoing poverty, which particularly affects children living in rural areas.

Noble Dynasty also sponsors Caputo Children´s Fund http://www.caputo-children-fund.org/. Under Caputo Children´s Fund, through schools, orphanages and church-related programs, we touch the lives of children in Africa and Central America. We also provide assistance to orphanages, schools, and other charitable groups in these regions.

Noble Dynasty exists to further the spiritual life and growth of each member, to pursue philanthropic and charitable works, and to promote a Code of Chivalry. While the Organization may from time to time rally its membership around a common charitable effort, it places its primary focus at the local level.

Noble Dynasty has several cultural and educational goals in the modern world:

  • To re-establish and promote the social institutions of monarchy and nobility and practice their principles in a world which has largely forgotten them: chivalry, honor, duty, loyalty, respect, enlightenment, tolerance;
  •
  • To organize conferences related to the aims and purposes of the Organization and the general assemblies of its members.
  •
  • To promote the culture and history of the people and nobility of the Kingdom of the two Sicily and the House of Antioch in the Swabia Dynasty.
  •
  • To research the history of the Kingdom of the two Sicily, Jerusalem, Antioch  and Germany;
  •
  • To reward meritorious service to society by awarding honors to persons who deserve them. (Honorary titles are bestowed upon individuals or organization as an award in recognition of their merits or excellence in a certain field).

Noble Dynasty would also like to extend the hand of a Treaty of Mutual Recognition, Brotherhood and Fraternal relations to all Chivalric and Fraternal Orders of good standing. As well exchanges recognition letters with Royal, Imperial and Noble Houses of the world, ruling or disposed.

INTRODUCTION

This section provides an overview of the Organization which is governed by its Statute. The Organization makes no claim to ancient origins. It is also not a “reconstituted” Order of Nobility or Order of Knighthood. It is a new Order of Nobility and Knighthood emanating from the Leader of the House of Caputo Organization. The Organization stands alone, separate and autonomous.

The Caputo Nobility Organization is an International  Apolitical Body, Ecumenical, Non-profit Organization (NGO)  established as an Independent Non-Governmental in accordance with the European Convention on the Recognition of Legal  Entity of International Non-Governmental Organizations.

The Organization is distinctly Christian in nature. It is ecumenical and shall not impose a specific denominational theology or dogma upon its members. The Organization does not discriminate against any individual on the basis of gender, race, color, nationality or denomination.

Although we are not a royal or noble house, we have structured our organization like a Constitutional Monarchy where the Monarch is the nominal representative of the State while all political and administrative decisions are run by the Government of the State.

Therefore it is the Leader of the House of the Caputo Nobility Organization is the representative, while the operation and representation of the Organization is the responsibility of all members of the Supreme Council.

All kinds of organizations are essentially monarchical.” (David Starkey, “Does Monarchy Matter?” Arts and Humanities in Higher Education 2005, 4, p. 215) It is in nations as well as in the private sector in companies, hospitals, schools, universities, churches and families. It is the rule of one that tends to prevail in all the earth. “Whether you call him Monarch, Pope, Dictator, President or Prime Minister is immaterial. In practice he is [a] King.”

A monarchy, (from the Greek "monos archein", meaning "one ruler") is a form of government that has a monarch as Head of State. The distinguishing characteristic of monarchies is that the Head of State holds his office for life, unlike in republics, where presidents are generally elected for a certain amount of time. The term monarchy is also used to refer to the people and institutions that make up the royal establishment, or to the realm in which the monarchy functions.

AUTONOMOUS LEADER OF THE HOUSE OF CAPUTO

ORGANIZATION

The Leader of the Organization is an autonomous authority within the Organization. He is supported by a Council that is composed of the heads of the units of the Organization belonging to its jurisdiction.  Under  the  Leader of the House,  the  Council  is the executive authority of the jurisdiction and executes the directives given by the Head of the House, the decisions of the High  Council  and  the  Chapter  General  as  well  as  its  own  decisions.  Conserving and cultivating the traditions of knighthood and nobility, is an aim promoted by the Head of the House of Caputo Family, in his capacity of the Organization holds a class and grade that belong to him alone.

The Council  by  the  intermediary of  the Leader of the Family Organization may  propose amendments to the  Constitution,  Laws,  Statutes and  other  regulations of  the Organization.  The Council of the Noble Dynasty may execute responding activities for the use of the High Council. The Leader of the House may determine its own internal regulations beyond that what is stipulated in this Constitution and the Laws.

The Head of the House of Caputo Family Nobility Institution may be called within the Organization as His Imperial and Royal Highness, Prince of Antioch and Swabia, Grand Master, Titular Emperor, King or any other titles he may judge pertinent to the Organization.

Further, the Head of the House retains full powers to create, within the Organization, nobles and knights of the House of Caputo Organization as needed or desire. The Organization uses such titles only within its own ranks. All titles or honors are private, not public titles.

The Titles are Honorific and not attached to any land or property although they come with names of the towns and villages of the Holy Roman Germanic Empire.

The House of Noble Dynasty his Head of the Organization, issues Nobility Titles according with his attribution as Supreme power of the Statute. The legality of the Titles is supported within the Organization, by other Associations, Fraternal Societies and by the Royal blood that have diplomatic relationship with Noble Dynasty or any Entities that recognize our Organization.

"Since all power is thus centered in the sovereign, the Head of the House possesses the authority, jus imperii, the civil military power, jus gladii, the right to respect and to the honors of his rank, jus majestatis, and finally the right to confer honors and privileges, jus honorum" (G.B. Ugo, Bascapa, Gorino-Causa, Nasalli Rocca, Zeninger and de Francesco).

The basic privilege and right of sovereignty or supreme power has been around for a long time. For example, with the discovery of Roman law in the 12th century came the maxim Rex in regno suo imperator est, that is, a king is emperor in his own kingdom". (Kenneth Pennington, The Prince and the Law, 1200-1600: Sovereignty and Rights in Western Civilization, p. 3)

Honorary title or title of honor is a title bestowed upon individuals or organizations as an award in recognition of their merits or excellence in a certain field.

Founding of the Organization. Letters Patent establishing "Noble Dynasty, The House of Antioch and Swabia" of Caputo Nobility Organization in perpetuity was signed and on the 12th day of October, 2008.

The Organization reposes in its own original sovereignty and the House of Caputo Nobility Organization is its historical link. The Organization is thus independent of any Royal or Ecclesiastical protection. The Organization may, however, accept a Protector if this may serve its aims. Such Protector must be Christian. A possible state protection must be associated with the Christian Faith or be religiously neutral. Protection of the Organization is not associated with any power upon the Organization.

RANKS WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION

Imperial Knights of the House of the Caputo Family Nobility Institution.

The Modern Knight. The words knighthood and chivalry have been interchangeably used to mean the same thing for hundreds of years. Chivalry is often used as a synonym for civility, nobility, and good manners.

The Knights of the  House of Caputo Nobility Organization  retains the traditions of knighthood and chivalry within its charter and constitution. For exemplary service to mankind or to the House of the Family Organization  a member may be granted the Rank or Knight/Dame of the House of Caputo Family Organization. This is the Order’s highest accolade and is only granted by the Grand Master. This Rank may be awarded at any time during membership in the Organization; it is not a step in advancement, but rather a singular honor.

NOBILITY RANKS RECOGNIZED WITHIN THE

ORGANIZATION AND BETWEEN FRATERNAL ENTITIES

As is common in all Nobility Houses and Orders of Chivalry, The Leader of the House of the Caputo Nobility Organization recognizes the Honorable Estate of Nobility. The possession of a Title, however, is not always an indicator of the worthiness or the bearer; therefore, Nobles do not, ipso facto, possess positions of leadership within the Organization, nor are they accorded deference over other members.

An Imperial Knight or Dame of Noble Dynasty devotes itself with benevolent projects. In cooperation with governmental, as well as, private entities, it contributes to community service. To become a Knight/Dame  or Noble of Noble Dynasty is purely a fraternal title, and does not imply that its bearer becomes aristocratic, in name or in blood. However, he may add his rank after his name to indicate his membership which is limited to a polite means of addressing each other within the Order.

Knights of Noble Dynasty should never use their rank for self-serving purposes.  It should only be used in connection with the Order and to its charitable, social or cultural activities, and hence must not interfere with heraldic jurisdictions of states that have constituted own orders of chivalry that run back to and have deep roots in feudalism. It depends upon the authorities of the host country, who are given the task to evaluate orders of chivalry, whether to accept them in the country or not. This includes appending requirements concerning membership.

Governments perhaps should establish an office in the Foreign Ministry asked to consider the matter first to list those organizations that somehow refer to ancient historical nature and are still run by those who at other times they were the real leaders, and secondly those which have only fraudulent intent, or purpose of encouraging petty megalomania of people who have nothing to do with organizations who want to represent.

The state, as happens in most countries around the world must not come on this phenomenon concerns the private cultivators of the traditions of a past that no longer exists ... teacher among all nations is now Spain, which does not recognize orders that are outside of its territory of  honor rewarding (allows the use of foreign decorations) and rightly considered as "associations" or even all those dynastic orders of invention that have some historical basis or promote social work in the Kingdom, so as to authorize the military to wear the decorations but only when participating in those specific ceremonies.

On the other hand there are other nations like France who adopt a system similar to that Italian, which requires obtaining a license - in this case issued by the Chancellery of the Legion of Honor - for the public use of foreign or honors associations chivalrous "historical" received by French citizens. In the United Kingdom citizens must be allowed (this time by the Crown) to the use of foreign honors, but in this case, the authorization is not limited to using only, but should be required for the transfer itself. The imposing and then transferring the country to require prior consent to the British authorities before the transfer.

"Different countries different customs," but the major problem in this area is to make it clear to users which are orders or associations somehow justifiable as historical memory, and which ones are just picturesque ways to make money and cheat the credulity of the people.

Since, the Knights of Noble Dynasty are internationally accepted as Charitable Knighthood Organization, therefore the Knights of Noble Dynasty having been chartered by it, also enjoys recognition by states that have diplomatic relationships with Caputo Nobility Institution.

How far and how much this recognition of the Organization in each country extends to, depends on the ruling administration. There are countries wherein members are required to seek government approval prior to becoming a knight of the Order. On the other hand, in some countries the Knights of Noble Dynasty are treated as regular society that mimics an order of chivalry. However, some notable members of the Order, such as His Imperial and Holy Highness Makoko Auguste Nguempio King of Kongo and his representatives, HIH Makoko Crown King-Prince Magloire Lamine, HIH Mama Kota Princess Amunh, further His Eminence Archbishop David Cooper, His Beatitude Archbishop Metropolite Nicolas are recipients of the Order’s decoration certainly give credence and dignity to it.

It is not to be denied that the Organization today has grown rapidly into a respectable and internationally admired fraternal organization. Ultimate goal is to spread Noble Dynasty’s vision, teachings and philosophy. We are the Knights of Noble Dynasty; if we are, by word and deed, what we ought to be then we have accomplished a greatness that knows no fear but ignorance; that demands nothing but its right – a greatness that makes us worthy and does not need justification. The Organization is a modern body with noble objectives embodied in chivalric terms.

The Organization, through the Member of the Household may ennoble members as a Mark of Honor; the Order or individual members may petition the Household to grant Noble Titles within the Organization to those in their community who have performed outstandingly worthy service that betters the lot of individuals or humanity in general.

Title of Nobility are not for Sale, rather we confer Honor Title of the Caputo Nobility Organization to honest and worthy people who promise to help the Institution.

A Title of Nobility is bestowed to individuals who have contributed significantly to the Cultural, Humanitarian, Monetary Assistance and Historical promulgation of Noble Dynasty around the world. Individuals must be recognized by their charitable activities, which have a major impact on street children of Guatemala City.

NOBLE TITLES RECOGNIZED BY THE ORGANIZATION

ARE AS FOLLOWS:

NOBILE (NOBLE)

KNIGHT/DAME

BARON/BARONESS

COUNT/COUNTESS

MARQUIS/MARCHESSE

DUKE/DUCHESS

PRINCE/PRINCESS

The Titles and Honors of Nobility are offered solely for private use in accordance with set criteria as decreed by the Head of Caputo Nobility Organization. They are offered for personal satisfaction only since titles have no connection with any Noble or Royal House, Government, Religious or Official Body.

"Noble Titles" should not be confused with "The Sovereign Titles", even if their qualifications could be the same (e.g. Prince), and we must remember that the former are subject to special regulation (regarding their recognition, succession, etc.), the latter do not require any formalities, as they are native.

This way the concept of nobility, today without any conceit or privilege, becomes part of sociology as a refinement of the human race in it´s continued future, with the aim of holding high the banner of the country´s history, which is the symbol of respect for the traditions, undeniable life force and source of energy in any evolution of time , society and Institutions.

"It should also be clear that, whereas national laws aim to provide clear-cut definitions or criteria, their validity extends only to their own borders. One country may well be indifferent to, or even recognize, what another calls bogus. A case in point is the various orders of Saint John recognized by their national governments (Britain, Germany, Netherlands) but not by others (France) or, until the early 1960s, by the Catholic Order itself.

http://www.heraldica.org/topics/orders/legitim.htm "

A title of nobility is by no means subject to international standardization, but rather to national and local differences. A title of nobility, as it is used today, is in most cases honorific, that is, it does only carry honorific privileges.

We simply ask that, as Christian men and women, they we all uphold the virtues of honesty and integrity in these matters.

Many of those associated with this separate House of Caputo Organization (Non-Government Organization) have participated in numerous domestic and international relief efforts to their association. We are always looking for qualified volunteers, the donation food, cloth, non expired lifesaving medicines and of course that ever elusive corporate and individual financial support that enable us to continue to help others.

Our membership standards are purposely very high, our financial and time commitments are not for everyone, and our dedication to a more caring world requires significant expectations that not everyone can meet. But for those who qualify, the Knights of the Organization of  the Caputo Family offer an unequaled World class Fraternal Organization with an international network of some of the most sophisticated and influential professional men and women from many different nations.
